Disable the Order Canceled Notifications on Shopify

In some cases, you would like to cancel the orders from customers and don't want to send a cancel notification to them. Shopify feature will help you to do it quickly by disabling the order canceled notification so that customers will not receive the notification about this action. 

How to disable order canceled notification

Step 1: Go to Orders and select the specific order
Step 2: Click More action and select Cancel order
Step 3: Enter details 
Step 4: Uncheck the send notification to customers
Step 5: Save

Access your Shopify admin as usual, then go to the Orders section on the left menu od the page. 

You'll be shown a list of the order numbers, pick the one you want to adjust. 

Step 2: Click More action and select Cancel order

When you're in the selected order details, click on the More actions button. From the drop-down menu, choose the Cancel order option. 

Step 3: Enter details

After you click on the Cancel order option, a window will pop up as the illustration below. You can insert the information or reason for this order cancellation. 

Step 4: Uncheck the send a notification to customers

In the Notification section at the bottom of the window, uncheck the tick-box of the text Send a notification to the customers. 

Step 5: Save

After satisfying with your choice, click in the red button - Cancel order at the bottom of the window to finish.
